Bean Builder - Bean Guide

Bean Builder is the default Bean-sona — the iconic orange bean in a yellow hard hat that represents the Dumb Ways to Build franchise. Every player starts as Bean Builder and can customize from there. The hard hat is not just cosmetic: it is the visual shorthand for the whole game.

Bean Builder is your starting character. No unlock required — you are Bean Builder from the moment you boot the game. All other Bean-sona options are built as variations on this base design.

Bean Builder accepts all hats, colors, faces and outfits in the game. The orange body color is the default but can be swapped for any of the 12 base colors. The yellow hard hat can be replaced with any hat in the cosmetics catalog.

Bean Builder is the identity you carry from your first Normal Job through Master Builder mode. Every certification and trophy is earned as Bean Builder — or whatever you customize it into. The character never changes stats; all Bean-sona options are purely cosmetic.
